Three Generations of Punjabi Pickle-Making
She Swaad is not just a homemade achar brand. It is a love letter to every Indian kitchen where a woman's hands turned raw mangoes and green chillies into magic.
It all began with our grandmother's secret masala — hand-ground spices, mustard oil, and patience measured in days, not hours. Her achars were the soul of every meal.
Our mother learned every recipe by instinct — the exact moment aam panna is ready, the right warmth of sunlight for pickling. She made it her own, and made it unforgettable.
Today, Rajrani Jaggi and family bring these heirloom recipes to tables across India. The same hands, the same love, the same taste — now in a jar, at your door.
How We Make Achar — The Traditional Way
Seasonal fruits and vegetables from trusted local farmers. No cold-storage produce — ever.
Every spice blend is stone-ground fresh using the same sil-batta techniques as our grandmothers.
Achars are set in sunlight the traditional way — until flavours deepen and come alive perfectly.
Sealed in small batches in sterilised glass jars. Every jar gets personal attention — no factory lines.
Achar Gift Hampers & Diwali Boxes
Corporate gifts, Diwali hampers, wedding favours, housewarming — She Swaad homemade achar gift boxes make every occasion unforgettable and deeply personal.

Good to Know
Our homemade Hari Mirch and Lal Bharva Mirch achars stay fresh for 12 months unopened, and 6 months after opening when stored as recommended. The Aam Panna concentrate lasts 6 months unopened and 1 month refrigerated after opening. No preservatives means flavour deepens with time.
Yes. We use only mustard oil, salt, and hand-ground masalas as natural preservers — exactly the way three generations of women in our family have made it. No artificial preservatives, no added colours, no acidity regulators.
Keep the jar in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Always use a clean, dry spoon — never wet — to scoop out achar. Make sure the chillies stay submerged in oil; if needed, top up with a little mustard oil to keep the surface covered. No refrigeration required.

It's a concentrate — mix 2–3 tablespoons with chilled water, give it a stir, and you have an authentic Punjabi summer cooler. One jar makes roughly 20–25 glasses. Add a sprig of mint and a few ice cubes for the full experience.
